Did you know that most government representatives and others who make decisions that affect your daily life do so without any input from those whose lives they affect, without knowing where you really stand on the issues? The majority hear only from well-paid representatives of well-funded special interest groups, and thus may very well vote accordingly. Your opinion can make a difference. To make your voice heard, contact your appropriate government representatives and let them know what you think about this and other important issues.

NOTE: Although we provide email links below, please be aware that legislators may not respond to email. They rarely have time to personally read email they receive, and so an aide may be assigned to read and appropriately deal (or not) with it. Some may be passed to your legislator, but most are not. Your best bet to being heard is to write a physical letter to your legislator; handwritten is best, but typed is fine too as long as it carries your full name, address, and phone number, and your handwritten signature.
