• Help promote and preserve an economically realistic and pro-human way of life in the face of those who would seek to force citizens to buy into an antiquated and environmentally unsound "quick fix" to the burgeoning traffic problems of the Los Angeles basin.
• Help prevent from becoming reality the misguided actions of those who would forever obliterate hundreds of historic structures, uproot scores of contented families, demolish a well-established small community by dividing it into quarters, and destroy thousands of mature, oxygen-producing trees, solely for the sake of profit and for moving a few more cars and trucks down the road at a snail's pace for an unprecedented expense.
